Dr. Adam Akerson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education Studies at Stephen F. Austin State University. Before joining the faculty in 2011, Dr. Akerson worked as an elementary teacher in San Antonio, Texas. He holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, Emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston. His teaching and research interests include co-teaching, teacher feedback, and early childhood learning environments.
