As an asset of The Texas A&M University System, the RELLIS Campus is governed by System Policies and Regulations (see System Policy and Regulation Library) and System Offices Rules.
The following Procedures and Standards communicate the responsibilities and practices that guide the operations of The Texas A&M University System RELLIS Campus.

RELLIS Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) 05 February 2022
The Texas A&M University System RELLIS Campus Emergency Operations Plan utilizes the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS) and includes policies, and general procedures for a wide range of emergencies, and various levels of emergencies. In addition, the plan contains organizational components, and response protocols to address the myriad of incidents that may occur in and around the campus. This document was developed through intimate participation of all RELLIS campus community stakeholders and represents a cohesive partnership in ensuring the operational preparedness of the entire campus.
System Offices Rules
Below are two System Offices Rules that were updated specifically for the special conditions and unique environment of the RELLIS Campus.
Rule 34.06.02.S1, Carrying Concealed Handguns on the Premises of System Offices
- Section 5 designates two science/research laboratories in Academic Alliance Building 1 on the RELLIS Campus where concealed carry is prohibited.
Rule 21.99.09.S1, Access to RELLIS Campus Property for Sales, Rentals and Soliciting Donations
- This rule addresses RELLIS campus administration’s authority to approve sales, rentals and donation solicitations on the RELLIS campus.

Rule 34.06.02.S1, Carrying Concealed Handguns on the Premises of System Offices
- New Section 5 designates two science/research laboratories in Academic Alliance Building 1 on the RELLIS Campus where concealed carry is prohibited.
- As required by law, this amendment to the rule was reviewed by the Board of Regents at its February 6, 2020 meeting and no action was taken to further amend it.
Rule 21.99.09.S1, Access to RELLIS Campus Property for Sales, Rentals and Soliciting Donations
- This new rule addresses RELLIS campus administration’s authority to approve sales, rentals and donation solicitations on the RELLIS campus.
- This rule was approved by the chancellor, effective January 10, 2020.
