Overview
The completer program for the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in early childhood through grade 6 is designed to develop future teachers’ knowledge and skills in education with field-based courses that provide real-world experience working with children. There is a significant shortage in certified teachers willing to step into the classrooms of public schools in Texas. This SFA degree helps Blinn College District students with an Associate of Arts in Teaching transfer seamlessly into the SFA BSIS EC-6 concentration offered at RELLIS.
