A: No, the RELLIS Festival and Open House is absolutely free. You may RSVP on the event Facebook page, which is available and hyperlinked below:

Q: Where is the RELLIS Festival and Open House?
A: The RELLIS Festival and Open House is being hosted on the RELLIS Campus, located at 3100 TX-47, Bryan. Directions are available and hyperlinked below:
Q: How do I get there?
A: Free parking is available in lot 1000, adjacent to the event, if you prefer to drive.
A bus route will be running to the event throughout the day from the Memorial Student Center on the Texas A&M University Campus.
- Buses will be leaving the MSC at the following times: 1:55 p.m., 2:55 p.m. and 3:55 p.m.
- The last bus will drop off at the MSC at 5 p.m.
Q: What is RELLIS?
A: The RELLIS Campus fosters cutting-edge research, technology development, workforce training and two- and four-year college degrees by tapping the A&M System’s state agencies and multiple universities, along with academic, corporate and government partners outside the A&M System. The RELLIS Campus is also the future home base for the U.S. Army Futures Command’s central testing hub.
Q: Is this a family-friendly event?
A: Yes! The RELLIS Festival and Open House welcomes families and has plenty of FREE family-friendly activities in the Kid Zone including lawn games, bounce houses, a fire truck and ambulance exhibit, a petting zoo and more.
For nursing moms, we’ll even have two lactation rooms available; one in room 457 of the Blinn College Walter C. Schwartz Building and the other on the third floor of the RELLIS Academic Alliance Complex, room 319.
Q: Will there be prizes?
A: Of course! The first 1,000 people in get a free RELLIS T-shirt.
Q: What is there to see at the RELLIS Festival and Open House?
A: Take a trolley tour of the campus and see what each of the 11 universities and 8 state agencies in the A&M System have to offer at the $500 million campus that has sprung up over the past three years in Bryan. From Texas Barbecue tutorials to drone demonstrations to a robot petting zoo, there’s lots to see and do!
Q: Will there be anyone who can answer my questions about attending one of the A&M System regional universities or Blinn College at RELLIS?
A: Yes. There will be university representatives from A&M System regional universities, as well as Blinn College, ready to answer your questions at the Collegiate Corner.
Q: Will there be food? Will alcohol be served?
A: Yes! Local vendors will be set up a Food Truck Alley, beer garden and wine tent. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. No outside alcohol allowed.
Q: Will there be entertainment?
A: Expect live music throughout the day with a Battle of the Mariachis, the Singing Cadets and a spectacular fireworks show to cap off the night.
Q: What’s the purpose of the RELLIS Festival and Open House?
A: The RELLIS Festival and Open House is the A&M System’s official ‘Welcome to the RELLIS Campus’ event, and serves as an opportunity for the RELLIS family to meet its neighbors from across the Brazos Valley.
Q: Will there be Wi-Fi?
A: Yes. Free wifi is available through the RELLIS-Guest network; brought to you by AT&T and Proteus.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, there will be several booths with working canine units on-site.
Q: Where is the Lost and Found? Medical Tent?
A: The Lost and Found is at the staff tent, near the entrance to the event.
There is also a Medical Tent, with a staged ambulance at the entrance to the event.
Q: Is seating available?
A: Yes, there is limited seating available at various locations. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs.
