The TEEX Utilities Program offers both electric power and telecommunications courses to industry professionals. Available training for private sector organizations, county, and local agencies covers not only industry fundamentals but also advanced training topics. Training areas covered range from fiber optics, cable splicing, telephony, and the deployment of telecom services to customized technical training covering safety, the use of electrical power equipment and several online training options. Specialized training specific to disaster management for electric power systems and leadership programs are also available.
