Start building your future with a degree in Kinesiology.  The BAAS degree in Kinesiology offered by Tarleton State University provides an avenue for students to complete a 4-year college degree who have documented technical training in Kinesiology, Sport, Allied Health, or other closely related fields. Work-related examples include public safety (police, fire, EMS, etc.), parks & recreation, military service, allied health technicians (PT, OT, LVN, pharmacy), etc. This is an applied degree program in which academic credit can be awarded for ‘Prior Learning Activities.’  This is generally referred to as prior learning credit (PLC).  In order to qualify for an applied degree program, a student must have a minimum of 12 hours of acceptable PLC in the form of workforce education courses (WECM) or documentable technical training that is related to the degree field.
