The Bachelor of Science in Health Science program offers a foundational degree for those with a clinical background looking for a four-year degree to advance in allied health positions or want to move into positions such as health educator, community health worker, health administrative roles, community/grass roots organizer, home health aide, among many others.

  • Conduct campaigns and education programs to reduce morbidity and mortality from chronic diseases

Derek Kennedy, MS, previously served the US Army as a strength & conditioning specialist at the Athletic Department for West Texas A&M University. His research focuses on hip extensor development for sport performance, in conjunction with its role in improving quality of life.
