Hungry to learn about criminal justice and real-life murder cases?
At Lunch & Lies: The Truth Behind Mindhunter (Season 2), you’ll have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Katherine Brown, associate professor of Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University, as she discusses Mindhunter season 2’s portrayal of a grisly murder investigation. Set between 1979 and 1981, Mindhunter season 2 follows members of the FBI Behavioral Science Unit while they investigate a series of brutal child murders that terrorized Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Brown, an expert in child murder, helped separate fact from fiction for the show’s writers and will be using her experience with murder investigations to give you an inside scoop on who did the real murders, what happened, and how they caught the perpetrator.
Besides learning, lunch will be provided, and if you’re interested in our Criminal Justice program, you can apply for free on the day of the event. We encourage you to watch Mindhunter season 2 prior to attending the event (no pressure!).
The deadline to RSVP is March 24th, so RSVP today!
