Dr. Gary Stading is a full professor of Supply Chain Management at Texas A&M University – Texarkana. Dr. Stading has held various leadership positions within the academy, in industry, and within the community. Dr. Stading has been published in such journals as the Journal of Operations Management, the Production and Inventory Management Journal, the Journal of Supply Management, and Supply Management Handbook from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM). Dr. Stading received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from Texas A&M University, a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Miami University (Ohio). Dr. Stading spent about 15 years in university administration including serving as an interim provost and in various dean positions. Prior to earning his Ph.D., Dr. Stading spent a number of years in industry working in various engineering and managerial capacities primarily for 3M and Hoechst Celanese where he managed product lines, facilities, employees and capital investments.
