Student Organization Awards
In addition to the RELLIS House Cup, each year our student organizations compete for six awards representing each of the core values that make up RELLIS. Scroll below to see information about the Student Organization Awards as well as how many points your RELLIS House currently has.
Description: This award is presented to the student organization that best utilized social media to engage with their members and the RELLIS community. The winner of this award demonstrates creativity in their content and content strategies, positive follower growth and engagement, and a commitment to consistency in post frequency and appealing visual aesthetics.
Judging Criteria:
- Post frequency – Did they post multiple times a week or only once a month?
- Engagement metrics – How many follows, likes, shares, and saves had they had this year?
- Post quality – Did their posts have quality graphics and well written captions with a coherent visual style?
- Creativity – How did their social media account leverage creativity in their content, strategies, and overall presentation?
- Community Presence – did they follow other clubs/organizations and engage with their content?
- Presentation of Nomination
Description: This award is presented to the student organization with the best event of the year. This organization demonstrated teamwork, effective planning, creativity, and impact. This event was engaging and encouraged participation from all parties involved.
Judging Criteria:
- The event carried the highest impact on the organization’ss growth and the student body
- The event showcased creativity and originality, offering a memorable experience
- The event was well planned and executed, demonstrating teamwork
- The event drew in the most participation and was engaging for students
- Presentation of Nomination
Description: This award is presented to the student organization that has demonstrated exceptional leadership by fostering community, encouraging participation, taking initiative, and demonstrating a commitment to growth.
Judging Criteria:
- Leaders showed integrity
- Leaders were proactive and took initiative
- Leaders effectively communicated with all members
- Leaders supported the group as a whole and encouraged participation from all
- Presentation of Nomination
Description: This award is presented to the student organization with the highest impact on the community through service and outreach. Through this organization’s involvement with the community, they have made a positive and meaningful impact on society that demonstrates their desire for change.
Judging Criteria:
- Describe the specific community need or issue you addressed and why it mattered to you.
- Explain the actions you took to create a positive change. Including planning, leadership, or hands-on involvement.
- Discuss the impact your work had on individuals/groups/communities. Include examples if possible.
- Reflect on what you learned from the experience and how it shaped your personal growth or future goals.
- Share how you encouraged others to get involved or how your efforts inspired continued community engagement.
- Presentation of Nomination
Description: This award is presented to the student organization that excelled in organizing impactful events, fostering student participation, collaborating with other organizations, and effectively promoting campus engagement.

- Number of REGISTERED Events
- Student Participation
- Collaboration with Other Organizations
- Impact of Events
- Visibility and Promotion of Events
- Presentation of Nomination
Description: This award is presented to the student organization advisor that showcases outstanding dedication and service to the organization, the RELLIS Academic Alliance, and the community. Nominations should describe in detail the contributions of the nominee with an emphasis on how the advisor has impacted individual members, the campus, and their community.
Judging Criteria:
- Advisor’s service to the club;
- To the general membership;
- To the organization’s leadership;
- Advisor’s role in the community not associated with the organization;
- Advisor’s role to the RELLIS Academic Alliance;
- Presentation of Nomination
These awards are presented to student organizations every spring semester to recognize their achievements in certain areas. Nominations are self-nominated by organizations and sent in via written essays arguing for their case. The winners are voted on by the executive board of the ERAAS Commitee.
Document Requirements: Maximum 5 pages, single spaced, 12pt Times New Roman, PDF format.
Disqualification: Failure to meet the formatting requirements will result in disqualification.
Grading: Submissions will be graded based on grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Submission Limit: Each organization may submit a maximum of 2 nominations per award.
Grade Scale: Graded on a scale of 100.

Resources For Current Student Organizations
Registration Form
Registration forms open on August 1st and must be submitted by October 1st of each academic year by all student organizations.
Marketing Request Form

Get Involved!
These organizations operate with little support from the RELLIS Campus academic staff, but remain aligned with the mission and culture of the campus. Advisors may be faculty members, professional or associate staff members, or graduate students.
Student Accounting Society at RELLIS
The purpose of the Student Accounting Society is to provide a place for RELLIS students to interact, make friends, and learn more about accounting and business.
The purpose is to provide a place for RELLIS students to interact, make friends, and learn more about marketing and business in general.
Psychology Club at RELLIS is a great way to engage with peers beyond the classroom and explore career opportunities and learn more about Psychology.
Health and Science Club
To develop well-rounded health professionals who can work together as a team to treat patients/clients/residents (populations) with dignity and respect.
The overall mission of the organization is to promote the agricultural industry through education and develop future leaders.
Science Technology and Computing Club (STACC)
Be a resource for student members and provide computer knowledge and information technology expertise.
oSTEM empowers LGBTQ+ people in STEM to succeed personally, academically, and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership, and advocacy.
Blinn RELLIS Alliance Club of Engineers (BRACE)
Aspiring Engineers devoted to creativity, ingenuity, and experience.
Sand Devils Sports Club aims to provide a sense of community through communication and sports.
Game Development Club
Due to a variety of reasons, these organizations are currently inactive. If you would like to revive an inactive organization, please email the Office of Student Life at studentlife@rellis.tamus.edu.
RELLIS Royals
A women’s organization that aims to connect woman at Texas A&M-RELLIS through community service and campus engagement.
RELLIS Tabletop Gaming Club
The purpose of this club is to have fun and fellowship with RELLIS students by playing tabletop games.
RELLIS Rangers
We are a male organization that aims to help young men at Texas A&M RELLIS to be the best versions of themselves through community service and campus engagement.

Registration Form

ESTABLISH A NEW STUDENT ORGANIZATION
- Attend a New Student Organization (NSO) Informational.
Anyone interested in a leadership position should plan to be there. Information on how to complete the process will be shared at the meeting. - Submit a completed new student organization application to the Office of Student Engagement.
Additional items or a meeting to discuss the organization’s details may be requested by staff members. - Wait for the application to be reviewed and complete any additional requirements
Upon approval, the student organization will receive an account number, be assigned a classification and categorization, and get additional information to complete the recognition process.
