A catalog is a collection of a school’s policies, academic standards, curriculum, and course information. The catalog is the best resource for definitive information about degree requirements and other academic-related matters. A school’s catalog changes from year-to-year, but the degree requirements for an academic program do not change once a student has officially been admitted to that program. That catalog is considered the student’s “catalog of record.”
