Overview
The BS Mechanical Engineering program prepares graduates for industry, licensure, and graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. The program focuses on the design and development of mechanical, hydraulic, thermal, alternative energy and control systems to meet human needs. The program also focuses on communication and teamwork, thus prepares students to advance the engineering profession through technical competence, innovative problems solving and design, professional conduct, and lifelong learning.
Graduates will possess the in-depth knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to design innovative solutions, use modern analytical tools and techniques, communicate professionally, and work in a team environment.
